What is Track and Trace?

Track & Trace is the set of processes, systems, and support activities that help JTI follow products through the supply chain — from production, through distribution, and down to the retailer.

In simple terms, it helps JTI answer questions like:

  • Where was a product produced?
  • Where did it move next?
  • Which market or warehouse handled it?
  • Can we prove compliance with local legal requirements?
  • Can we investigate issues quickly if something goes wrong?
